eat foods high in copper, that will help your hair, nails and skin grow fast and stay healthy.

use a shampoo combined with a conditioner. suave is cheap and makes my normally very curly hair so straight you'd think it wasn't growing from the same scalp.

definitely blow dry it with some form of mousse in your hair.

there are sprays you can buy to put in your hair while straightening it to make it stay straight.

there's also special brushes that are kind of like a double brush. think of like a salad tong type thing, where it's got two sides and by squeezing it the two sides come together, only put brush bristles on it. that helps brush it straight while blow drying it.

i personally use the wide 2" straighteners, but i am told that thin straighteners work better. i have really really thick hair so for me i like the wide ones.

then use a hair spray that won't make your hair stiff and it will stay straight without looking plastic.

Use a ceramic flat iron. make sure you use a serum or a shine spray to protect your hair.. try not to use the flat iron more than once a week its really damaging
