Do you know what i am talking about? :)?

the hair dryers that have the old attchment were the air comes out and it makes your hair curly?

can you tell me everything you know about them!?

thanks

Do you know what i am talking about? :)?

its called a diffuser.

and their great for your hair, better than just regular blowdrying actually, because its not so much heat damage. i reccomend purchasing one by chi.

What can you pack in your suitcase?

I've just been told that you can't pack hair dryers, hair straigtners, travel irons, etc in your suitcase and in fact you have to pack them in with your hand luggage. I'm travelling from the UK to Majorca. Can anyone help??

What can you pack in your suitcase?

Too many damn cloths and not enough money!

What can you pack in your suitcase?

I thought hair dryers were fine, I think the rest is too it's just that some of that stuff uses gas cartridges which must be packed in hand luggage, that may be where the confusion lies. Phone your airline, it's far simpler that trusting people on here!

What can you pack in your suitcase?

I too heard that no electrical items are allowed in luggage (has to be in hand luggage) but i cannot find any info to say if this is correct.

a link anyone??

What can you pack in your suitcase?

I agree with the first answer (phoning your airline). With all the security today--these things could change from day to day. Have a good and safe trip. :)

What can you pack in your suitcase?

I travel frequently from the UK to Southeast Asia. Unfortunately i live by my hair straighteners and hair dryer anyway through my travels i have yet to encounter any problems with immigration or customs. maybe its due to security reasons ie. resembling a weapon type thing..

What can you pack in your suitcase?

Call first!!!

Travel Agent/Agency(if any)

Airline

Hotel at Destination

You never know till you ask. There might be conveniences that your hotel is willing to provide free of charge and which could save you tons of hand and backache carrying all those luggage (They don't call it LUGgage if you didn't have to lug it around... hehe) and as a plus, you get more wieght and space for souvenirs on your return trip!

Your airline can give you heads up on the security on all sides of your flight. You might get through in your airport but you might get held up in a stopover or at your final destination becuase of different security issues.

Your travel agent can coordinate all of this for you, if they haven't, tell them to.

Anyways the general rule is anything that can be used as a weapon is a major NO-NO... sharp objects, hard objects, accelerants(even in small doses), igniters, etc...

Bon Voyage!

What can you pack in your suitcase?

Pack light. Few light shirts for daytime use, several undergarments, at least 2 swimwear, 1 jeans (yup!), 1 shorts, 1 pair of sneakers, 1 pair of flipflops. Never mind the hair gadgets as most hotels have hairdryers. Go au natural! Then transfer dollops of your fave moisturizer, sunscreen, your pills/vits./medication in a pill box. Buy small sized lotions. When packing shirts, roll them instead of folding. You can squeeze in more stuff when you do that. Have fun!

What can you pack in your suitcase?

There are specialty travel hair dryers and irons and such. Those should be fine to pack. If you have questions about specifics, it is best to contact the airline directly. If they have issues with it, I'm sure they sell cheap hair dryers in Majorca!

What can you pack in your suitcase?

You need to double check, however I've flown all over the world and never had any problems with packing electrical items.

I can tell you, unless you are planning to stay at a real cheap place most places now have hair dryers and irons in the room. That only leaves the hair straigtner, to pack.

Where you run into problems are the travel versions that use little gas cartridges. NO gas cartridges in check in or carry on bags. Also they don't like aerosol cans! Hair spray and such needs to be in the pump bottle, or better yet just grab some when you get there.

What can you pack in your suitcase?

I lived in Mallorca . just put it all in youir case

What can you pack in your suitcase?

I am a hairstylist and have traveled SEVERAL places with everything packed in my suitcase. My scissors, my hair dryer and flat iron- everything. Except for chemicals. Never had a problem, I am sure that you can call the airline you are traveling;ling with and ask the rep if your things will be alright. The main thing is that those items are heavy. They really add up fast as far as the weight of your baggage is concerned, so watch that. Otherwise, just ask! :)

A ink pen leaked in our clothes dryer is there a way to get ink off the walls of the drum?

we got most of the ink off with hair spray now its just the small stains

A ink pen leaked in our clothes dryer is there a way to get ink off the walls of the drum?

Try some WD-40 spray...

A ink pen leaked in our clothes dryer is there a way to get ink off the walls of the drum?

In a dryer? The ink is most likely dry now anyway %26gt;_%26gt;

You might not be able to get it off....try nail polish remover.

A ink pen leaked in our clothes dryer is there a way to get ink off the walls of the drum?

scrub with rubbing alcohol-make sure you wash thoroughly with regular soap and water after you've finished getting the ink off and before use

A ink pen leaked in our clothes dryer is there a way to get ink off the walls of the drum?

I've found eucalyptus oil to be the best.

A ink pen leaked in our clothes dryer is there a way to get ink off the walls of the drum?

Goo Gone is excellent for removing Ink from the dryer drum also try using WD-40 spray lubricant on a cloth and rubbing the Ink until it disappears Good Luck !

A ink pen leaked in our clothes dryer is there a way to get ink off the walls of the drum?

MR CLEAN MAGIC ERASER. IT WORKS!!!

A ink pen leaked in our clothes dryer is there a way to get ink off the walls of the drum?

wd-40 works for sure, this happened to me with a red pen my son left in his pocket! just make sure to wash off the wd-40 residue off the drum otherwise the next load will end up with an oily substance and well that's another question!

Guys what should I do???

I live in a first floor of a three-unit condominium and there is a family living on the second floor, which gives me headache all the time. They are soo noisy and they have kids that keep running all day long and the parents keep pushing and pulling and dropping stuff and the floor plus they don閳ユ獩 even have carpet!!! I don閳ユ獩 know what to do because I even have hard time studying!! I talked to the landlord and he didn閳ユ獩 even talk to them!! I am really tired and some times I cry because of them!! They wake up at 7 am in the morning and start their noises and some times they vacuum and use hair dryer at that time!! Some times, I start yelling on them and they don閳ユ獩 care also. I cant change my apartment and I am lost what to do!!

Guys what should I do???

Hmmm...I would play really loud music and have a bunch of drunks over....or buy a drum set and start playing it at 1 in the morning while they are sleeping and see how they like it! Assholes! I hope everything works out, thats a really shitty situation.

Guys what should I do???

Move, that's seriously all you can do.

Or keep complaining to your landlord until he says something.

Guys what should I do???

There is not much you can do except get out when the lease is over and be more careful to choose top floor apartments in the future. What they are doing may be annoying (I have had neighbors just like that) but it is not unreasonable. Should they not send their children to school in the morning so you can get extra sleep? Should they incur the expense of a carpet so that you can get time to study? No.

This lesson for you is about tuning out distractions. Ignore them. A distraction is only a problem is you allow it to be. People get used to living next to a train station - surely you can adjust to this new environment also. Turn your stereo up at socially acceptable times to drown out the noise. Consider ear plugs when you sleep. Live and let live.

Peace!

Guys what should I do???

see if your landlord would let you switch floors with them

Guys what should I do???

I had a problem with noise. It was preventing me getting good sleep, and subsequently I used to get very stressed. This stress would then stop me getting to sleep!

My recommendation would be getting earplugs. There are some really good ones available which block out a surprising amount of noise. I use some, and I get a perfect night sleep now.

Try a few different ones out, as some are more comfortable to sleep with at night than others.

Guys what should I do???

So an entire family should change their routine because of you?

At 7 a.m. most people are preparing to go to work, if not there already. This involves showering, drying your hair, and vacumming up any cereal your kids spilled at breakfast.

Kids move around a lot. Should they tie them to chairs?

They can't install carpet in the apartment- it's not their building and in a lot of places carpeting is prohibited in rental units because of health codes.

Move.

Guys what should I do???

If your going to be up all night anyway, put on some on inappropriate music (rock, rap, anything that they may find offensive) at their bedtime and turn it off when you go to bed. They'll be just as tired as you are in the morning, may wake up a little later in the morning and realize that if they can hear you then you can hear them. Try it for a few nights; it works.

Also that grl was right about putting on music to drown out the noise.

Guys what should I do???

take a shaving cream can, freeze the can, unscrew the bottom. on a hot day when their car window is down put the shaving cream can in the car and watch in excitement as the car fills with shaving cream.

and you my friend, will get the better end of the stick.

What kind of wax do I have to use for candle-making in a metal mold?

I've used parrifin wax but the result of the candle that comes out is bad. I've had to get the candle out with a hair dryer a few times and it is a mess. Please help.

What kind of wax do I have to use for candle-making in a metal mold?

I have been making candles for 8 years. The first thing to try- when it wont come out of the mold is to cool it. Put it in the fridge for 15-30 minutes or the Freezer for 10 minutes. Do not leave it in the freezer for longer-or it will crack. The wax shrinks when it is cooler and can be removed easier. A silicone spray made for candle making is best but PAM will work. ALSO...heating your molds before you pour into them, helps them as well. Put them on a cookie sheet in a warm oven-not hotter than 175 degrees for 5 minutes. Be sure to use an oven mitt to take out and I remember that your molds will be very hot. Enjoy making your candles...its a blast!!

What kind of wax do I have to use for candle-making in a metal mold?

I've used Crisco (the solid shortning kind), you could probably use Pam or other cooking spray in the mold- sounds like you need a little lube to get the candles back out.

What kind of wax do I have to use for candle-making in a metal mold?

You need to use a mold release even if you are using a plastic mold.

Pam is okay but the craft ftore sells a silicone mold release spray, too.

Also, when you have the "mess ups" you can sink the candle in a pot of warm water.

But if you damage the candle on the release, melt it and do over.

What kind of wax do I have to use for candle-making in a metal mold?

I saw a guest use ARMERAL (sp?) on a mold on HGTV. You can find it at the grocery store in the automotive section or at an automotive store.

HAVE FUN!

There are a couple of websites here that you may find very helpful:

How will I survive a whole week!?

Great! For a whole week I get to go to a camp with the entire seven grade. We sleep in cabins and only some of them have heat (it's in Maine and it might be kind of cold). I going to be gone on Halloween hiking, getting all muddy, learn about respect, getting eaten alive by mosquitos and eating horrid food.

No cellphone

No Hair dryers

No Hair curlers

It going to be terrible! How am I going to survive this!

How will I survive a whole week!?

You sound pretty spoiled and if you changed your attitude around a lot, you'll actually find that you'll enjoy being out hiking, getting all muddy. Just think of the time you'll save by not having to do your hair all up and think of the peace and quiet from not having to answer a cell phone for a few days. Of course you'll survive. After a long hike, any food they give you will taste good and not to worry about bugs and mosquitoes, they aren't around in the cooler temps either. So, hang in there and have some fun!!! I'm sure you're going to love it.

How will I survive a whole week!?

Take your computer and anwser our questions.

How will I survive a whole week!?

Please, can I come?!!

Really, life is not all about your hair or phones. Loosen up and have some fun out in the REAL world for a change. Wish I was going in your place!!

How will I survive a whole week!?

How will I survive a whole week!?

Guess what, there hasn't always been cell phones and hair dryers and crap. And people survived pretty well then. I think you can grow up and manage.

How will I survive a whole week!?

i go to maine every summer and i'm deff a girly girl but sometimes it's fun to be outdoorsy for a week. although we have heat=/ i love it there have fun and stop being stuck up.

Has ANYONE USED THE T3 FEATHERWEIGHT DRYER???

HOW STRONG IS THE AIRFLOW?

AND

DOES IT GIVE HAIR VOLUME

Has ANYONE USED THE T3 FEATHERWEIGHT DRYER???

Yes, I own one myself. I love it (pricey though). It does add volume if you use a large round brush while blow drying. The airflow is not that strong but does the work in half the time of other blow dryers. I would reccommend it!

Would a CHI blow dryer make any difference?

Compared to a cheap one from Wal-Mart. Why are they so expensive?

I straighten my fine wavy hair every other day and I just don't get the same results my stylist does.

Also, where can I get good round brushes?

Thanks!

Would a CHI blow dryer make any difference?

If you are a professional hairstylist, yes. Your using it all day every day and it will last you. They are so expensive because of the name and also because they are made to take a lot more abuse then the ones from the drug store. As for why you dont get the same results as your hairstylist...we stand behind you and we can see your hair at a different angle. the hair is sectioned and we dry hair all day. The answer...practice, practice, practice...thats the only reason, no big secret! Go to your local beauty suppy store for your round brushes. Good Luck.

Would a CHI blow dryer make any difference?

in my experience, it would

Should i get the T3 dryer to the chi blowdryer??

Drying the trunk of a car?

I have a 91 Honda Accord, and there is some moisture in the trunk, and it smells like the first stages of mildew growth may be setting in. I live in Seattle, and it's not exactly warm outside this time of year, so it seems pointless to open the trunk and let it "air out" (especially b/c it's been raining for the last couple of days). Any advice on how I can clean/dry the trunk? Oh, and I live in an apartment, so hooking up a hair-dryer to an extension cord isn't going to work.

Drying the trunk of a car?

Remove all the carpet when you do you will probably find some small rust holes at the wheel humps.Plug these with urethane body caulk from the parts store.sop up the water with towels, dont forget under the spare tire.take carpeted pieces indoors and spray with febreeze keep inside till dry. Also check trunk weatherstrip to make sure it's in good shape.

Drying the trunk of a car?

get a bunch of portable fans that are like $10

Drying the trunk of a car?

Have you tried using maybe a kitty litter with an odor absorbing agent

Drying the trunk of a car?

swab the water up with old rags and spray it with lysol and then get a new trunk lid seal for the trunk.

Drying the trunk of a car?

You can buy absorbant in cloth bags or packages that made to put in damp places like basements, closets, etc.Look at Home Depot,Lowes,or Wal-Mart.

Drying the trunk of a car?

First of, you have to find the leak...drying it out won't help much if it's just going to get wet again...

Pull out all the wet carpet, and get it "someplace" dry. hang them over a couple chairs or something, then let them dry that way...then wipe out the metal in the trunk, remove the spare and get under it too.

Sorry, but you'll have to get creative, it will take a day or two for the carpet, IF you get a dry enough place to put them.

Drying the trunk of a car?

pull up all the carpet and remove it, lay it on your porch or balcony if you have one, or lay it in the grass or something, let it air dry. even if its just 40 out, it will dry, slow, but will dry.

once carpet is out check the wheel well areas in the trunk to ensure no rust spots have ate through causing rain water from the tire to wash into the trunk area. also pull up the spare tire and check to see if there is water pooling and or if the drain hole in the bottom is clogged or not. believe should be a rubber grommet in center where spare is.

otherwise hand dry the trunk out, even lay a few towels in it to give the moisture something to absorb into, spray the trunk down in Lysol and pop your seats or leave the trunk open so air can move. once everything is dry and its like spring/summer.....spray the interior and trunk down in Fa-breeze to remove any left over odor.

wet zone and closed up is what causes mildew.

Drying the trunk of a car?

Try a small bag of cat liter. Spread it around....then vacumm it up at a car wash facility. If you find any mold try some baking soda it should deter any growth.

Drying the trunk of a car?

Until a sunny day shows, start by removing what's in the the trunk and relocate these items to your apartment (put the damp items in the bath tub or shower stall). To help dry the trunk faster, use old towels, rags, newspapers and/or sponges to absolve the moisture. Be sure to check the spare tire well as well as the lower corners of each rear quarter area. If these are loaded with water, the lower rubber/metal drain plugs will have to be released. Once dried, spray with bleach to kill the musty oder and let air dry. Then there is always Frebrez. Also check the drain holes in the deck lid for being open.

Drying the trunk of a car?

I know the answer to your question, and believe it or not I DO KNOW WHERE THE WATER IS GETTING IN. Take the rear carpet and all your stuff out and dry it. It's never getting wet again. You may have a pool of water in your spare tire well. If so suck it out with a wet dry vac, and dry out your trunk with towels. You see the two piece stainless steel moulding that runs across the bottom of your back window? It is held on by these rediculous "plastic clip screw anchor conglomerations" which are inserted through 12mm x 19mm rectangular holes that lead... you guessed it right into your trunk! All the water that runs down your back window, goes under the moulding, drips through five big holes onto the channel where your trunk light is, and into your trunk.

I struggled with the clips and the rusty screws that go through the middle of them on my Accord. I was in kind of a pinch because the docking station for my laptop is mounted against the bottom of that, and the computer acts a little funny with rain soaking into it. I caulked the heck out of the holes with that kind of fast dry primerless urethane (they use for gluing windshilds in) And inserted the clips and moulding. Since I had to drive the car home in the rain, I put black electrical tape across the whole back moulding, taping the moulding to the glass. Nobody even sees the tape unless they stare at it for a while, so I just left it on there for added security. Frankly I trust the tape more.

Is it possible to heat mold skate at home?

i have a pair of skates at home and they are very stiff, so i want to heat mold them, so i read this article online, and says use a hair dryer, does that work? will ur boot life be shortened?

Is it possible to heat mold skate at home?

dont do it...go to sportcheck to do it.....its not the proper temperture or you dont know the right time it may reck the skates

Is it possible to heat mold skate at home?

If the skates are made to be molded, it should work. I did that to mine and it worked (Easton 900's). It shouldn't hurt the boot either as long as you don't keep it in there too long.

Does the Conair Infiniti blow dryer actually work?

I'm thinking about buying it, but I don't want to waste money on it if it doesn't work.

Does it actually make your hair straight (the way a flat iron would) and smooth and eliminate frizz?

Does the Conair Infiniti blow dryer actually work?

Yes, yes, yes - please get it! It actually works very well. I just got mine last week from Target and have been pleased. I also got the Infiniti flat iron and it is awesome. Initially thought about buying the CHI but at $130 it was too expensive and I love the results with the Infiniti products. Please check out the responses on Amazon.com as well!

If I abandon my blow dryer...?

Can my hair grow healthier/longer/silkier, and less dull%26gt;

If I abandon my blow dryer...?

Yes. You will not be over-drying your hair so much, so it will look shinier, feel silkier and you will have fewer split ends, so you will be able to grow it longer and have it look better. Be aware that the hair that is already damaged can be improved with some conditioning treatments, but it will take time to get the really healthy head of hair that you want. It won't change overnight.

If I abandon my blow dryer...?

Glad to help... just realize that nice hair is mostly genetic, then a really good stylist is the key to having a cut that works with your hair's texture so you can "wash and go", and of course maintenance with appropriate products for your hair also helps. Report It

If I abandon my blow dryer...?

not longer but silkier and healtheir, definitly.

If I abandon my blow dryer...?

Well it will be healthier.

If I abandon my blow dryer...?

Yes!!! but it's really hard not to use your hair dryer unless u have thin hair then it will dry fast anyway

If I abandon my blow dryer...?

Not necessarily..just cause you stop using your hair dryer altogether doesnt mean you will have healtheir longer silkier and less dull hair. It depends on the kinds of products you use on your hair also. bad products and using too much of it can damage hair. so dont just blame it all on your poor blow dryer!!!

If I abandon my blow dryer...?

Any type of heat styling tool damages the hair. Blow dryers, with constant and repeated use definately hinder the hairs progress, growth, etc. It dries the hair out, causing it to be dull.

If I abandon my blow dryer...?

If your hair could talk, it would thank you!

I had this hair lightning spray i put some on my 8 month old baby her hair is so cute and high light

it looks like its alot thinner please help but dont scare me even more, this spray is called sun in i put it on and either it dryes in the sun or with a blow dryer i dryed it with a blow dryer!

I had this hair lightning spray i put some on my 8 month old baby her hair is so cute and high lighte but !?

dont worrie about it jst try to wash her a little more thn usual n dnt put no more on! it will all be fine xx

I had this hair lightning spray i put some on my 8 month old baby her hair is so cute and high lighte but !?

you mostlikely damaged her hair...what kind of mother are you?

I had this hair lightning spray i put some on my 8 month old baby her hair is so cute and high lighte but !?

Why do you do anything to a babys hair...it is already beautiful the way it is..and now you introduce chemicals to it...of course it looks thinner, it either is falling out, or the lightness you have done to it makes it look like they have no hair. Babies many of them do not have a full head at this age still it is thin to begin with...so yes, it looks thinner because you made it lighter...save it for yourself...there is no logical reason to play with chemicals on a baby...go get a doll...

I had this hair lightning spray i put some on my 8 month old baby her hair is so cute and high lighte but !?

Are you an idiot? That has CHEMICALS in it.. shes justa baby what were you thinking? You better call you pediatrition if you even have one.

I had this hair lightning spray i put some on my 8 month old baby her hair is so cute and high lighte but !?

You should not be putting any chemicals on children, as their skin and hair are very sensitive.

I had this hair lightning spray i put some on my 8 month old baby her hair is so cute and high lighte but !?

Please don't do things like this to you infant. This stuff is for adults and has doubtlessly damaged her hair and made it fall out.

If she's lucky it will grow in and she won't have thin hair her entire life.

I had this hair lightning spray i put some on my 8 month old baby her hair is so cute and high lighte but !?

Honestly, why do people these days treat their babies like accessories? Just change their hair color, dress them in rocker/punk/glam clothes to go with whatever you wear! It's kind of sad.

But to answer your question, just leave her hair alone from now on. If she wants to dye it some time in the future, sure. Don't mess her up because YOU want it a different color. Plus, lighter hair often looks thinner than dark hair. Kinda logical...

I had this hair lightning spray i put some on my 8 month old baby her hair is so cute and high lighte but !?

Please take your baby to your pediatrician immediately! ALL HAIR PRODUCTS HAVE TOXINS IN THEM! Even if they say they are natural they actually have toxins in them, even shampoos!!! This goes for all products. People have been using baby powder and baby oil on their children for years but they are also toxic. Research the internet and learn about products before applying them on yourself or your baby. You need to know the dangers here.

I had this hair lightning spray i put some on my 8 month old baby her hair is so cute and high lighte but !?

Im sorry, but they are not being mean. I won't say that you are a bad mother, but I will say that you are a uninformed mother. If at 8 months, you don't think that your daughter is already perfect the way she is, then I feel bad for your daughter. One, You should NEVER EVER use a blow dryer on an infant. Even if it wasn't on hot, that could really injure your baby. Secondly, I would never put chemicals near or on a baby. Read the back of the sun-in bottle, It has chemicals in it. The only semi-safe way you could have dyed your baby's hair was with lemon juice. Please, never.. ever use chemicals on your infant again.

I had this hair lightning spray i put some on my 8 month old baby her hair is so cute and high lighte but !?

If you're worried about your baby's hair, take her to a salon and see what they think. They might be able to give you a natural way to heal her hair and scalp.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

I had this hair lightning spray i put some on my 8 month old baby her hair is so cute and high lighte but !?

It probably just looks thinner because it is lighter. Don't worry about those people above me who are coming down on you for doing that. They are just being haters (trolls)

How can i quickly dry ink on acetate A4 paper. I printed it a few days ago and it still has not drye

Should i try with a hair dryer or what????

How can i quickly dry ink on acetate A4 paper. I printed it a few days ago and it still has not dryed.?

Acetate is notorius for long drying times. Is it beading up or anything? If it isn鈥檛 I鈥檇 say use a fan with the setting on LOW and cool if you have that 鈥?the heat will just warp the acetate. If it is, the kind of acetate you鈥檙e using isn鈥檛 bonding to the ink and the ink will just flake off.

I鈥檝e always had luck just xeroxing my ink drawings on it, the ink in xerox machines sticks well. Then I always hit EVERYTHING with workable fix.

How can i quickly dry ink on acetate A4 paper. I printed it a few days ago and it still has not dryed.?

Put it on da radiator

How can i quickly dry ink on acetate A4 paper. I printed it a few days ago and it still has not dryed.?

Heat isn't what you need, its low humidity (dryness). Put it into an airconditioned warm room is about the best thing. But it is slow.

The reason xeroxing works is that it uses dry toner which is set by heat. Also be careful to get clear sheets suitable for xeroxing or you will destroy the copier. Don't use regular acetate.

How can i quickly dry ink on acetate A4 paper. I printed it a few days ago and it still has not dryed.?

Sorry, i reread your question a few days ago?? It will definitely not dry. It sounds like water based ink sitting on top of acetate plastic page. I would a different type of ink

Do "ION"- enhanced products really work?

I think we all see those products in the store that claim they have Ionic conditioning powers that make the product 100% better. It's everywhere! Hair dryers claim their ionic conditioning actually improves the hair, ionic fans claim to use ions to refresh and deodorize and clean the air. I've even seen a hairbrush that would expel ionic air while you comb to make your hair smell and look better. But is their any validity to their claims that IONIC conditioning even works?? I don't think it does. I think there's no difference whatsoever. What do you guys think?

Do "ION"- enhanced products really work?

The problem with ionic "conditioners" is that they are not truly "ionic". If they generate ions, they generate an equal number of positive and negative ions (it's the nature of electromagnetism).

More often than not, they are ozone generators and ozone chemically reacts with impurities in the air.

Unfortunately, ozone is a smog-producing component.

Do "ION"- enhanced products really work?

Put NaCl ( salt ) into water and you will have an ionic conditioner.

Do "ION"- enhanced products really work?

i'm sure for everyday products it's a marketing ploy.

but i do own an ionic hair dryer. and i tend to think that my hair gets dried faster with that hair dryer than my non-ionic hair drier. and i don't think i was gyped--as the ionic hair dryer has a unique smell similar to how my laboratory ionizer produces a smell; ionic devices do have their use--especially in my lab when i want to minimize static electricity when weighing out $$$$ compounds.

IPod. Water. Me. Stupid.?

M'kay, I was trying to get a sticker out of the back of my iPod, (courtesy of my little cousin), I used a toothbrush to rub the extra sticky paper that stuck, off. I was rinsing the back of my iPod and I was extra careful to leave the water out of the USB jack (if I didn't, then there would be a message that would come out, but when it got drained of battery, it would go back to normal). When I was done I turned it over to see that water entered the screen and it turned into condensation. It wouldn't turn on, but the next day it did. I had tried to use a hair dryer, but that only made my iPod expand and it would work, but after I leave on the table, it goes all condensation-y again. I tried the sun, not much help. Any suggestions???

IPod. Water. Me. Stupid.?

try setting it on your tv top or computer monitor something that has a indirect heat source thats not too hot

your going to have to let it sit 3-5 days for the condensation to clear up

by husband works for wastewater and drops his cell all the time in water he has to have a back up phone we go through it all the time this usually does the trick

the hair dryer didn't work cause it did not have time to evaporate it just made steam that condensed again because of the drop in temp when you removed the heat source

IPod. Water. Me. Stupid.?

See if you can open the iPod's case and wipe the condensation off. I wouldn't recommend using heat to dry it because you could damage something. Try not to rub your feet on carpet when you do it because static electricity will definitely kill your expensive iPod. Hope this helped you out.

IPod. Water. Me. Stupid.?

Most likely water is in the ipod. If your careful enough open it up and there will be droplets of water. (I have no idea how to open it up) Keep using the blow dryer on low.(if its on high you would fry it) I tried it on my phone when it fell in the pool and it works now. If it doesnt work feel free to try to release ur anger on it by smashing it with a sledge hammer.

IPod. Water. Me. Stupid.?

bring it to the apple store at ur mall or ship it to them and they will fix it cuz its part of the warranty and if the warrenty is over call and its like 50$ for a 2 year extention i got it when mine got messed up

IPod. Water. Me. Stupid.?

for future reference, use baby oil or cooking oil to remove sticker paper from surface and wipe dry.

for this case, you may want to leave your ipod near the thermal of fridge or heater for a few hours the warmness may be able to dry the dampness as hair dryer can only dry the surface temporary.. and water is still in the ipod.

Otherwise seek professional help... get the repairman to clean up the inside.

What's a blow dryer diffuser?

What's that and is it neccessary for people with curly hair?

What's a blow dryer diffuser?

It's an attachment for your blow dryer that has holes; not necessary for curly hair, but recommended because it more evenly distributes the air from the dryer instead of coming out full force.

What's a blow dryer diffuser?

yes it is... maybe you should invest in one

What's a blow dryer diffuser?

It's the round thing that comes with the blow dryer. It helps to lock in the curl but no it's not necessary but it can help. I personally don't use it. I scrunch my hair %26amp; hold it in scrunch with clips %26amp; just blow dry it while up in clips gets my hair really curly!

What's a blow dryer diffuser?

it is a plastic cylinder that attaches onto a regular blow dryer, it makes the air come out differently which doesn't create frizz and keeps curls more in ringlets

Spilt tea on laptop!?

Help! I spilt tea on my laptop keyboard! At first it was ok, I turnt it off incase electrics etc clashed when to turn it on, go to login screen when to type user name etc in and the keyboard took over and had no control( kept inputting 6666666 etc ,,.,..) so turnt it of then turnt on and it made the bleeping noise (as if someone was holding down a key on start up) so turnt of and now the power light isnt even on and wont turn on. Tried hair dryer with no luck!! Is it broken%26gt;?????!!!!! Any ideas on how I can save this... will it work in a day or so. PS I didn閳ユ獩 have sugar in tea just a sweetener!

Thanks

Spilt tea on laptop!?

Rhoda the spoda is an idiot she is wrong

Spilt tea on laptop!?

Turn it off and then use a hirdryer on a lowish setting to try and dry it. It may work. If not ring a computer shop and ask them. Good luck

Spilt tea on laptop!?

take it to get looked at thats the only thing u can do if the hair dryer didnt work or leave it off for 24 hours then try again good luck :)

Spilt tea on laptop!?

Hi - I had this with mine after I spilt some coke into it! Had to get a new keyboard fitted - it was 鎷?20 all in and is now fine. The guy in the repair shop said it would have been OK if I'd split tea or coffee into it... I would leave it upside down with the keyboard facing the floor so the liquid can hopefully come out (perhaps lay it on a towel), wait a few days and then try it again. At worst you will need to buy a new laptop, at best it will be OK or you can hopefully get it mended. How about ringing round local repair shops (I found someone who would do a 'no mend, no fee' for me. Good luck.

Spilt tea on laptop!?

Most computer traders/repairers offer a liquid damage repair service.

Change in density, helium balloon, heat?! help!!?

You need a small, dark colored balloon, filled with helium. Needs to have a string attached to it. Also need some paper clips or source of weight to attach to string. The object is to add enough weight so that the balloon will not rise or sink. Your last resource is a portable source of heat (hair dryer). Direct the heat toward the balloon, it should begin to rise after awhile. Explain what caused the balloon to start rise %26amp; explain why it would eventually descend when the heat source was removed or atleast reduced in strength.

Change in density, helium balloon, heat?! help!!?

The mass of He in the balloon remains constant as it is kept within the balloon. The reason the balloon rises is because density of the balloon is less than the density of air. You put the paper clips on the balloon in order to make the density of the balloon equal to the density of air. When you heat up a gas will expand. When it expands the volume it occupies increases, yet the mass remains unchanged. The definition of density is mass per unit volume. When you heat up the balloon it's volume increases. When the volume increases and the mass remains the same the density decreases and the balloon is now less dense than air and rises.

This happens every day with hot air balloon travel. As you go up in the sky the temperature gets colder. This makes the volume of the balloon lower and causes the balloon to sink as the density goes up. As the balloon drops the air is warmer and volume of the balloon increased causing the volume to increase and the density to decrease and the balloon rises. The balloon when very high in the sky goes up and down all day unless the pilot makes adjustments by firing the burner or letting air flow out.

Change in density, helium balloon, heat?! help!!?

A question on Tie dying?

I am planning to tie dye a bandanna with a group of girls that are 10-13 years. One that they can use as a headband! Do I have to wait for it to dry or can I use a hair dryer to dry it after we have dyed the fabric and squeezed excess water ? We dont have much time. Thanks in advance from a few greatful girls!

A question on Tie dying?

u have to wait for it to dry because if u dont the dye will wash out into there hair. You also have to wash them once in cold water. Make sure you soak them in soda ash then u dye it then u let the color soak for at least 24 hours. Then wash it in cool water with out soap let them dry on a hanger then when dry you wash them in cold water

Going to Poland w/ electronics?

Okay, so I'm traveling to Poland sometime in December. I heard that electronics from the U.S. do not work in Poland because of the outlet difference. I am planning to bring an I-Pod and a hair dryer. Do I need some sort of an extender to change the outlets, or is there nothing I can do to make my electronics work in Poland?

If so can you provide links %26amp; prices??

I very much appreciate it-

Carrie

Going to Poland w/ electronics?

They sell travel kits with a small transformer and plug adaptors that fit most countries. (Check officemax and travel stores)

The ipod is not an issue, their adaptors work at both 110 and 220V, however, your hair dryer may be a problem, depending on how many Watts it uses. Most of these adaptors are for low power devices.

Does anyone have any good weatherization tips for foggy windows?

My windows are single pane older trailer style windows. They do have two windows but each pane is about four inches between. They get moisture on the outer windows inside in the winter and then freeze over leaving them all foggy and icy. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening this year? I plan to cover them over with the plastic that you put on with double sided tape and a hair dryer. I'm looking for a solution that might treat it for the wh ole winter. If you have any good tips I would appreciate it. Thanks a lot.

Does anyone have any good weatherization tips for foggy windows?

Seal the windows with door and window caulking from the out side should help from letting moisture working in behind the two pieces of glass.

Does anyone have any good weatherization tips for foggy windows?

I was going to suggest exactly what you said...the double sided tape and plastic that shrinks with the hair drier. In my house that takes care of the foggy windows because, like yours, they are single pane. The air trapped between the plastic and window is warmer and keeps the windows from fogging up. I always use a plastic like that make by 3M. It is a really good product. Best of luck.

How to unfreeze pipes?

My pipes leading to my bathtub have been frozen for 5 days now. As far as I can tell they have not burst, but it is very inconvenient, this being our only tub. Toilet still works but not the tub, which is closest to my crawl space. It is very hard to get under the space, so I cannot use a hair dryer under there. What should I do to unfreeze them?

The crawl space is covered pretty well, but I may have to cover up some more to stop the cold air from getting in.

How to unfreeze pipes?

Heat the space slowly with a space heater and the faucets open, eventually you will have to go underneath to insulate or heat tape the pipe.

How to unfreeze pipes?

If I were you I would call a plumber ASAP. I got home yesterday evening to a burst pipe. The clean-up crew was here until 3:30 in the morning and my bathroom has been totally gutted, thank goodness I got home when I did or a lot more then my bathroom and basement would have been damaged. That is definitely one headache I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Good luck

How to unfreeze pipes?

hot water and degreaser

How to unfreeze pipes?

Assuming the pipes are PVC put a space heater as close as possible ,keeping in mind combustible material such as floor or joists or trash.and give it time . Keep from worrying by feeling surfaces near the heater to reassure yourself .the pipes are not going to melt and other surfaces are not going to burn . Leave a faucet open wide so you can hear when it breaks loose. After wards get some pipe insulation tubes and cover them .

How to unfreeze pipes?

If you can see the pipes ,tape a hair dryer to a long pole and try to thaw them that way, since you can't get under the house.I know that sounds a bit strange, but sometimes you have to improvise...

Liquid stuck between screen?

i got some juice stuck between my averatec laptop and i was wondering how to get it out, people say used a hair dryer or something but it seems to get my screen too hot at times.

Liquid stuck between screen?

Hi,

Laptops have a bezel ring that covers the wires and inverter on the edges of the LCD screen. The are 2-4 rubber bumpers close to to corners. If you dig these out you will find a small screws behind them. If you remove the screws and the bezel ring (square pastic cover). you can easily use a soft damp cotton cloth and clean the "Juice" up. Then replace the cover and the screws, and the little rubber pieces.

While the plastic cover is off, don't forget to clean the back side. Don't worry about the LCD panel falling out there are more scews and plates holding it in.

Hope this helps

Women, sleeping with no underwear?

2 make the long story short, I've been batteling bv for 3 months and it's finally gone, only the gel gave me a yeast infection, so now I'm on dufilcan for that. last time i had the pill it allowed the bacteria overgrow giving me another case of bv. anyway, I've been changing my diet, staying away from a lot candy, sticking to my fruits and cranberry juice, and now thinking about getting off this yasmin. I dry down there with a hair dryer, and as of now I'm using scentless soap. I've already got the answer that it's a good idea not to have panties on while sleeping, but now I have 2 questions. 1: is it possible that I can use this scentless soap only for that area and use my regular soap for the rest of my body? 2: if I decide to go to bed without underwear, which is very weird because discharge happens at night sometimes, is it possible that I can wear my pajama pants still, just without the panties? boxers maybe? It gets cold in my dorm and I like something on my legs. Thanks ladies!

Women, sleeping with no underwear?

1. Yes you can use scentless soap there and normal soap everywhere else. Alternatively you could stop using any soap down there at all.

2. Yes just wear no underwear but still wear boxers or your pyjama pants, it's a lot looser than underwear so the skin can still breathe etc. but you are covered.

This site has some good info on hygiene etc that you might like: http://www.the-clitoris.com (it's an anatomy site, not porn, and discusses both the soap issue and underwear at night issue)

Women, sleeping with no underwear?

well i dunno about the medical stuff but i sometimes sleep in just pajama bottoms and no underwear and i've had no problems yet, lol i think it would be fine.

Women, sleeping with no underwear?

Yes, you can use scentless soap down there. I recommend looking at hypo-allergenic, fragrance free "feminine" wash. I know that Summer's Eve has a wash that fits the bill. Also, check if a generic option exists. I know that Target has a generic brand that is much less expensive, but still does the job. Just make sure that it's fragrance free (they all come hypo-allergenic).

Re: the underwear. Yes, Go Commando Girl!!! It's completely fine and will not affect your body negatively. When you do wear underwear, make sure that the crotch is 100% cotton. It will allow better airflow to that area!

Good luck!!!

Women, sleeping with no underwear?

In answer to your question, yes scentless soap down there and then regular soap everywhere else. As for pajama pants, sure, just make sure they are loose fitting, you need to have that area breath. Boxers are an excellent way of achieving this as well. Take care

I am going to spain and i heard that the hotelsn there do not have the same electrical outlets as th

so what would i have to do in order to use a hair dryer for example in spain without it burning up or some technical problem occuring?

if it is an adapter that i would need, then what kind?

I am going to spain and i heard that the hotelsn there do not have the same electrical outlets as they do here

I would get a travel adapter set that has several adapters. That way, no matter where you go, you are covered. Bed Bath and Beyond sells them.

Buena suerte!

I am going to spain and i heard that the hotelsn there do not have the same electrical outlets as they do here

Hotels have their own hairdryers in the bathrooms but if you have electric gadgets to take with you go to a Radio Shack or similar and ask for a nice travel adapter.

I am going to spain and i heard that the hotelsn there do not have the same electrical outlets as they do here

Go to your nearest Radio Shack or electronics store, and tell them that you need electric converters for Europe, they will be able to help you.

I am going to spain and i heard that the hotelsn there do not have the same electrical outlets as they do here

Yes it is different, but you can buy an adapter when you get there, they are very common in all the stores, even the hotels may furnish them for you, they know you are american.

I am going to spain and i heard that the hotelsn there do not have the same electrical outlets as they do here

hi yeah the sockets in spain are different to those used in usa or the uk.

if you are in the usa then you can buy a travel adaptor that you plug into the socket and then plug your hair dryer into that. its totally safe and ive used then hundreds of times.

you can bug them in most shops or online, here is a link for one on amazon.

Frozen pipes in mobile home ?

My pipes are frozen in my mobile home

I have never lived in a mobile home before so this is all new to me

I know there is copper and PVC what does PVC look like? White?

Should I try a hair dryer?

and how do u install the heat tape and where

Frozen pipes in mobile home ?

Open all doors to under sinks with a heater couple of feet away. Turn on water spiket slightly.

Heat tape is to be wrapped around under trailer pipes. The hot water pipe will freeze up first (heat attracts the cold moisture to the pipe).

At night when it will be extra cold leave hot %26amp; cold water dripping in all sinks %26amp; tub to assist keeping them from freezing.

Frozen pipes in mobile home ?

No do not use a hair dryer.

Go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy a heat tape. They come in long lengths like 20 or 30 feet. Measure your frozen line to the connection at the ground to the trailer. Then take that footage and multiply it by about 1.25 That is the length of tape you need.

Then take that heat tape and wrap that line with it at about 1 wrap per foot. Then wrap that heat tape with ordinary fiber glass wrap that comes for this purpose and is about 6 inch wide.

Plug the heat tape in. It will unthaw the pipe in minutes.

The heat tape has a thermostat in it so that when the surface goes to about 38 F he kicks on and heats the water line preventing a future freeze.

Thats about it. Good and easy job for the homeowner to do.

Frozen pipes in mobile home ?

PVC pipes are white plastic. Your pipes probably run under the length of the trailer. They freeze because there is not enough insulation around the pipes. You are going to have to open up the trailer skirt and crawl under the trailer. At the home supply store they sell foam pipe insulation which is really easy to apply. Put this foam insulation around your pipes. It has a slit cut down the one side of it so all you have to do is slip it over the pipe. Also check so see if there is anything you can do to minimize the amount of cold air blowing under the trailer. If the trailer skirt has damage to it that is where the cold air may be getting in. Check to see if all of the faucets in the trailer are frozen. If it just one then you know which run of pipes are causing the problem. You can use a hair dryer or a small space heater to warm up the pipes.

Frozen pipes in mobile home ?

Copper pipe is copper color. pvc is grey, blue , or white.

I would suggest that you go to a plumbing supply company and discuss your problem with them, as they have special low level heating devices that are wrapped around the pipes to prevent freezing in the first place.

In the meantime use your hairdrier to thaw the pipes.

As you have used the terminology mobile home I suspect that you are in UK. get the pipes thouroughly insulated with ARMAFLEX rubber insulation, you may not need the more drastic action of heater tape.

My feet are always freezing.......?

No matter what i do, my feet are always cold. I'm sitting here at the moment with thick socks on and Ugg boots. I warmed them up with the hair-dryer, but they've gone cold again. I'm sick of it. Any ideas? Thanks x

My feet are always freezing.......?

Go see your doctor. You could have circulatory probs

My feet are always freezing.......?

Take them out of the freezer.

My feet are always freezing.......?

by shoes with some fur

My feet are always freezing.......?

you have poor blood circulation to your feet, seek assistance form your GP

My feet are always freezing.......?

I have that problem too, but the feet are the most distal part of the body so in turn they get less blood flow and blood is used to heat part of our bodies.

My feet are always freezing.......?

you probably have bad circulation of the blood flowing throough your feet i would see a doctor

My feet are always freezing.......?

At a sports store they have these hot pads for feet when you go skiing or to the snow. get some of those.

My feet are always freezing.......?

omg i am the same way. im sitting in my basement right now and my feet aree FREEZING! idk what to do either. someone help??

My feet are always freezing.......?

See a doctor. You may have blood circulation problems

My feet are always freezing.......?

Put them in a sink (or tub) of hot water for about 10 minutes. Before you do this, put your socks in the dryer on high for 20 minutes. Once you are done soaking, dry your feet and go run get your socks out of the dryer. Put them on then put your shoes on.

My feet are always freezing.......?

Try a blowtorch or putting them into a nice log fire .... Mmmm ... cosy ... Mmmm

My feet are always freezing.......?

Could be bad circulation or your thyroid.

My feet are always freezing.......?

Its normal for feet to be cold, but they shouldnt be cold with thick socks and ugg boots on! Maybe there could be a blood circulation problem? See the doctor

My feet are always freezing.......?

get some thermally insulated boots/slippers they not very exspensive and work very well :)

My feet are always freezing.......?

see your doctor, apparently you are having a problem circulating warm blood through your feet. do they go numb? tingling sensations? or maybe your just cold-blooded to the sense that your feel cold.

My feet are always freezing.......?

usually Means there is something wrong with your heart, it struggles to pump the blood around the body! see a DR

My feet are always freezing.......?

If you're at home or someone's house whom you're comfortable with, like a best friend, I suggest a few things:

-Run hot bath water and stick your feet in it

-Run to Wal*Mart or some drug store like CVS and buy a heating pad then put your feet on that

-Keep warm socks on, curl up on the couch, and wrap yourself in a blanket with your feet tucked under you

My feet are always cold too!! I have socks on right now and they're cold. I'm about to go get my heating pad. Good luck!!

My feet are always freezing.......?

I'm serious with this answer. I went thru months where my feet were hot and sweaty and tingled constantly. I thought I was losing my mind. I started taking a medication called neurontin and that has solved the problem. Hope this helps.

My feet are always freezing.......?

I actually have a condition that makes my hands and feet cold all the time (mainly affected in my feet) I hate it to. You might have the condition to. It's nothing serious it just has to do with your arteries squeezing tighter than the average person. The only harm it does is makes ur feet cold. I cant really stop it but putting hand warmers in your socks (not in public) can help. lol. Thats all I know.

My feet are always freezing.......?

Do you smoke? That Causes poor circulation, and damage them. Try quiting. If you don't smoke, you might want to see your doctor. Cold feet means poor circulation, and if your not smoking it could be a serious heart arteries, or vein problem.

My feet are always freezing.......?

Are your hands also cold ? Some people have poor circulation to their extremities and that causes the perception of cold. Increase your exercise and during your stretch rotate your hands and wrists, feet and ankles-- flex and point and move your toes regularly. This will increase the blood flow to these areas. Mention this to your physician when you see him/her next visit, this can be the result of an underlying disease- but not necessarily.

My feet are always freezing.......?

I don't have the answer, but I wish I did. I have the same problem. And no matter what you do nothing helps. I can put my feet on my husbands leg and get him to lay the other one on top of it. He is always hot. But before a minute goes by i can start to feel his heat from his legs getting really cold.

My feet are always freezing.......?

yes the other person is right....you either have bad circulation or low blood pressure (my prob).

My feet are always freezing.......?

try walking around, do some exercises such as squats and stretching your ankles and knees.

perhaps you have circulation issues. consult your doctor.

My feet are always freezing.......?

Some people just have cold feet. My daughter has been that way since she was born! Try increasing your circulation with some exercise and wearing 2 pairs of socks - wool as one of the layers. And finally, menopause will probably cure it for good!

My feet are always freezing.......?

I have the same problem. Especially in the winter. I always just wrap my blankets around my legs and wear 2 pair of coats and i have a small heater that i run to heat up one room. Soon after like 30 minutes I'm warm and completely satisfied. I don't know if this will work for you, but you can always give it a try!

My feet are always freezing.......?

Am guessing you're someplace where the temperature is below zero :S

well ... stay near a heater or a fire.

My feet are always freezing.......?

My feet are always freezing.......?

It might be some kind of disorder called raynaud's phenomena which makes one of the extremities very cold due to lack of circulation. you need to try to put them in hot water, and after that put some menthol (you can buy it from the pharmacy) and rub them with it, this will bring the blood into the area. if all these wont work then you need to go to the medical specialist, there are medications used to treat this kind of case, they call them the CCBs

My feet are always freezing.......?

Either you have poor circulation or you're naturally like that. If you're concerned, go see your doctor.

Might be poor circulation. Go to ask.com and ask 'causes for cold feet'. There is a great deal of information there. good luck.

What's the best way of getting snowboard stickers off of a snowboard?

They have been on for quite a while.

Someone recommended heating the stickers with a hair dryer, peeling them off then using WD40 oil to wipe off the residue?

Will this work? Any better methods?

What's the best way of getting snowboard stickers off of a snowboard?

Heating them up with a hair dryer will help loosen the glue. They should pull off relatively easy. As long as it is a typical waterproof vinyl sticker it should come off without a problem.

WD40, Ronsonol lighter fluid,

Citrus Cleaner, Goof Off, Denatured Alcohol, Simple Green, 3M Wax remover, etc. etc. all will do a good job of removing the goop left behind.

making them hot with a hairdryer

Whats the difference between a grounded plug and an ungrounded one?

I understand the dual voltage and using an adapter, but I heard about grounded and ungrounded plugs. I cant figure out which one I would need for my hair dryer while in St. Lucia

"Well, I bought this expensive electronic hair dryer that is well over the Customs limits and I'm afraid that they'll confiscate it from me. Is there anyway that you could carry it through Customs for me? Under your robes perhaps?"

The Officer thought this answer strange, so he asked, "And what do you have to declare from your waist to the floor?"

"I have a marvelous little instrument designed to be used on a woman, but which is, to date, unused."

Laughing, the Officer said "God bless you, go ahead!"

Hyperhidrosis can be caused by food allergies, or a mineral/vitamin deficiency. I had it for a long time before learning

this.

Check out this article about hyperhidrosis, grains, and sugars. Scroll about halfway down the page.

http://www.mercola.com/2004/aug/14/exces...

I had hyperhidrosis and other symptoms for many years tried all the usual treatments including ETS surgery, prescriptions,

antiperspirants, botox, etc. The surgery was most helpful but several years later hyperhidrosis began to return.

Years later I was diagnosed with a few food allergies and celiac disease. I eliminated wheat, dairy, and sugar from my diet.

I stopped all prescriptions and began taking supplements for B vitamins and magnesium.

What do you want .... ??

What do you want in a hotel? Closet? Dresser? Bigger bathrooms? Hair dryer? Personal safe? Iron %26amp; Board? .. I personally don't use those ... bigger tv's? DVD players? Phones? Microwave? Coffee Maker? Toaster? Desk w/ desk chair? Sofa bed? Fire place?

What do you want .... ??

No bugs or stale smells. Super comfy bed, extra pillow and extra towels, quality complementary toiletries, wide selection of cable channels, really good free breakfast, terrace or balcony of decent size with comfy chairs, easily accessible hot tub and pool, free convenient parking, good visible security, helpful front desk who are knowledgeable about area attractions and who can book tours, shows, regular size coffee maker with decent coffee and actual mugs, and nice chairs/couch for comfy lounging.

What do you want .... ??

Yes, that would be nice....

What do you want .... ??

not that i talk alot on the phone but it would be nice when i am on vaction the phone calls were all free cause like i went to hotel and they charged me for a phone call that was not exactly in that pacific area

What do you want .... ??

I just want it to be clean. Everything clean. and sanitary.

What do you want .... ??

Bigger Bathrooms, personal safe, mini fridge, DVD players, bigger towels I can never get all my hair wrapped up.

What do you want .... ??

i would love to have more pillows, i have a back problem and i always have to ask and never get more than two. i also like lots of blankets, at least two, because i never use the bed cover, not because i am cold , but i like the weight. i love when there is a coffie pot! and a fire place would be great.

What do you want .... ??

When I was in Japan, they had the biggest tubs ever! I loved it, after walking around 12 hours a day it was soooo relaxing!

Usually, if I go somewhere, I don't rely on the tv, dvd, etc.

Clean bathrooms and clean sheets are most important!!

Swimming pools are always fun. Coffee makers are nice as well. Being a woman, I appreciate a vanity for my make-up. It's also nice when the rooms come with shampoo and soap.

Anyone have any good ideas for fun pranks for work, college dorms, camp? Always looking for more ide

My favorite one is baby powdering a dorm room. Put a whole bottle of baby powder under a person's dorm room door, then use a hair dryer to blow it into the air. When the person comes back, everything is covered in baby powder...it's amazing. Also fill up a trash back in a garbage can with water, then tie it up...then drop from a 2nd or 3rd floor window...it's the biggest water balloon ever! Water goes everywhere!

For work:

Change a few of the keys on the keyboard around and go to control panel and go to mouse change the motion, speed, configuration and buttons.. its funny to watch them get frustrated esp when they are trying to log on the comp and they keep getting locked out.

My co worker and i did this to our boss one time.. we sat there and laughed watching him struggle and get mad.. good times :)

(this is only good if you have a good work relationship with fellow co-workers who can take a joke)

We had a co-worker who wouldn't turn his annoying cell phone ring down so when he was at a meeting we hid the phone in the ceiling tiles in his office. When he got back from his meeting, we all took turns calling his phone and enjoyed watching him try to find it!

If your campus has a fountain outside, you could food coloring or laundry detergent in it

How much energy does a TV use when on standby?

What percentage of energy do electrical appliances use when on standy? I'm aware that energy is still being used when a tv or set top box is on standby; but some quaters are peddling info bout energy being used when an appliance eg phone charger or hair dryer is plugged in although the socket switch is off!! If this is true what percentage? Almost .001%?

How much energy does a TV use when on standby?

It really depends on the device. Although there are standards, the amount of minimum current required is usually included in the specification manual of your device or you can download the specs at the manufacturer website.

Anyone know of any tricks to get the new belt on?

I'm replacing the serpentine belt on my husband's 1991 Chevy Gladiator van. I can get the belt on all of the pulleys except one. When I move the tensioner as far as I can move it, the belt still won't clear the bottom of it to get it under the tensioner. Is there a trick to it? or should I position the belt under the tensioner and try to get it over the AC pulley instead? (It's smaller and has smooth rounded edges unlike the sharp edges of the tensioner.)

Since this is a van, there is little working room on top and most of the belt was put on from the bottom of the van. It's easier to see where everything is and easier to reach than from the top. I thought the problem might be that the belt was cold and had those kinks in it from the factory fold. So, I brought it inside last night, warmed it up, got out as much of the kink as I could with my hair dryer and started again today.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Anyone know of any tricks to get the new belt on?

your going to want to wrap the belt around the tensioner arm and pull it over the ac pully if it is smoth that means the back side of the belt should slide right over, making quick work of a pain in the *** job. now if you could tell me how to get a 3/8 drive ratchet into a tensioner arm on a 96 berretta we'd be even....

Anyone know of any tricks to get the new belt on?

get it on that one first then do the others

Anyone know of any tricks to get the new belt on?

Be sure you have the correct belt. Also look at the steering pump and see if it has a slide to loosen it up.

Anyone know of any tricks to get the new belt on?

try loosing the AC compressor adjustment

Anyone know of any tricks to get the new belt on?

I would find the smallest pulley (usually the alternator pulley) and I would run the belt through everything except that pulley, then move the tensioner as far as it can go and slip the belt on. If that dosent work check your belt against the old one and see if it is even the right length. Good luck!

Anyone know of any tricks to get the new belt on?

Be sure that the new belt is EXACTLY the same size as the old belt. I had that happen to me once. The parts store gave me a belt that was just slightly too small. It was the one that was called for in their parts book. I fought with that belt until I finally decided that it was the wrong one. Took it back along with the old one and matched it up properly.
