Acetate is notorius for long drying times. Is it beading up or anything? If it isn鈥檛 I鈥檇 say use a fan with the setting on LOW and cool if you have that 鈥?the heat will just warp the acetate. If it is, the kind of acetate you鈥檙e using isn鈥檛 bonding to the ink and the ink will just flake off.

I鈥檝e always had luck just xeroxing my ink drawings on it, the ink in xerox machines sticks well. Then I always hit EVERYTHING with workable fix.

Heat isn't what you need, its low humidity (dryness). Put it into an airconditioned warm room is about the best thing. But it is slow.

The reason xeroxing works is that it uses dry toner which is set by heat. Also be careful to get clear sheets suitable for xeroxing or you will destroy the copier. Don't use regular acetate.

Sorry, i reread your question a few days ago?? It will definitely not dry. It sounds like water based ink sitting on top of acetate plastic page. I would a different type of ink
