Spilt tea on laptop!?

Help! I spilt tea on my laptop keyboard! At first it was ok, I turnt it off incase electrics etc clashed when to turn it on, go to login screen when to type user name etc in and the keyboard took over and had no control( kept inputting 6666666 etc ,,.,..) so turnt it of then turnt on and it made the bleeping noise (as if someone was holding down a key on start up) so turnt of and now the power light isnt even on and wont turn on. Tried hair dryer with no luck!! Is it broken%26gt;?????!!!!! Any ideas on how I can save this... will it work in a day or so. PS I didn閳ユ獩 have sugar in tea just a sweetener!

Turn it off and then use a hirdryer on a lowish setting to try and dry it. It may work. If not ring a computer shop and ask them. Good luck

take it to get looked at thats the only thing u can do if the hair dryer didnt work or leave it off for 24 hours then try again good luck :)

Hi - I had this with mine after I spilt some coke into it! Had to get a new keyboard fitted - it was 鎷?20 all in and is now fine. The guy in the repair shop said it would have been OK if I'd split tea or coffee into it... I would leave it upside down with the keyboard facing the floor so the liquid can hopefully come out (perhaps lay it on a towel), wait a few days and then try it again. At worst you will need to buy a new laptop, at best it will be OK or you can hopefully get it mended. How about ringing round local repair shops (I found someone who would do a 'no mend, no fee' for me. Good luck.
