My feet are always freezing.......?

No matter what i do, my feet are always cold. I'm sitting here at the moment with thick socks on and Ugg boots. I warmed them up with the hair-dryer, but they've gone cold again. I'm sick of it. Any ideas? Thanks x

I have that problem too, but the feet are the most distal part of the body so in turn they get less blood flow and blood is used to heat part of our bodies.

At a sports store they have these hot pads for feet when you go skiing or to the snow. get some of those.

Put them in a sink (or tub) of hot water for about 10 minutes. Before you do this, put your socks in the dryer on high for 20 minutes. Once you are done soaking, dry your feet and go run get your socks out of the dryer. Put them on then put your shoes on.

If you're at home or someone's house whom you're comfortable with, like a best friend, I suggest a few things:

-Run hot bath water and stick your feet in it

-Run to Wal*Mart or some drug store like CVS and buy a heating pad then put your feet on that

-Keep warm socks on, curl up on the couch, and wrap yourself in a blanket with your feet tucked under you

I'm serious with this answer. I went thru months where my feet were hot and sweaty and tingled constantly. I thought I was losing my mind. I started taking a medication called neurontin and that has solved the problem. Hope this helps.

I actually have a condition that makes my hands and feet cold all the time (mainly affected in my feet) I hate it to. You might have the condition to. It's nothing serious it just has to do with your arteries squeezing tighter than the average person. The only harm it does is makes ur feet cold. I cant really stop it but putting hand warmers in your socks (not in public) can help. lol. Thats all I know.

Do you smoke? That Causes poor circulation, and damage them. Try quiting. If you don't smoke, you might want to see your doctor. Cold feet means poor circulation, and if your not smoking it could be a serious heart arteries, or vein problem.

Are your hands also cold ? Some people have poor circulation to their extremities and that causes the perception of cold. Increase your exercise and during your stretch rotate your hands and wrists, feet and ankles-- flex and point and move your toes regularly. This will increase the blood flow to these areas. I don't have the answer, but I wish I did. I have the same problem. And no matter what you do nothing helps. I can put my feet on my husbands leg and get him to lay the other one on top of it. He is always hot. But before a minute goes by i can start to feel his heat from his legs getting really cold.

Some people just have cold feet. My daughter has been that way since she was born! Try increasing your circulation with some exercise and wearing 2 pairs of socks - wool as one of the layers. And finally, menopause will probably cure it for good!

I have the same problem. Especially in the winter. I always just wrap my blankets around my legs and wear 2 pair of coats and i have a small heater that i run to heat up one room. Soon after like 30 minutes I'm warm and completely satisfied. I don't know if this will work for you, but you can always give it a try!

It might be some kind of disorder called raynaud's phenomena which makes one of the extremities very cold due to lack of circulation. you need to try to put them in hot water, and after that put some menthol (you can buy it from the pharmacy) and rub them with it, this will bring the blood into the area. if all these wont work then you need to go to the medical specialist, there are medications used to treat this kind of case, they call them the CCBs
