i have a pair of skates at home and they are very stiff, so i want to heat mold them, so i read this article online, and says use a hair dryer, does that work? will ur boot life be shortened?

dont do it...go to sportcheck to do it.....its not the proper temperture or you dont know the right time it may reck the skates

If the skates are made to be molded, it should work. I did that to mine and it worked (Easton 900's). It shouldn't hurt the boot either as long as you don't keep it in there too long.
