I am going to spain and i heard that the hotelsn there do not have the same electrical outlets as th

so what would i have to do in order to use a hair dryer for example in spain without it burning up or some technical problem occuring?

if it is an adapter that i would need, then what kind?

I would get a travel adapter set that has several adapters. That way, no matter where you go, you are covered. Bed Bath and Beyond sells them.

Buena suerte!

Hotels have their own hairdryers in the bathrooms but if you have electric gadgets to take with you go to a Radio Shack or similar and ask for a nice travel adapter.

Go to your nearest Radio Shack or electronics store, and tell them that you need electric converters for Europe, they will be able to help you.

Yes it is different, but you can buy an adapter when you get there, they are very common in all the stores, even the hotels may furnish them for you, they know you are american.

hi yeah the sockets in spain are different to those used in usa or the uk.

if you are in the usa then you can buy a travel adaptor that you plug into the socket and then plug your hair dryer into that. its totally safe and ive used then hundreds of times.

you can bug them in most shops or online, here is a link for one on amazon.
