I normally straighten my hair a lot, since I have pretty wavy hair.

I also blow-dry every morning after I shower and sometimes curl my hair after I straighten it with my curling iron.

As a result, I get a lot of split ends.

Well, you should get your hair trimmed do to the split end you have now. I also think you should put conditioner on the ends of your hair before you go to sleep at night. And if you want to continue to blow dry and straighten your hair, I recommend a CHI straightener b/c of the plates on it dont fry your hair. Maybe you just need to find the right product line. There is no other way. Split ends are permanent. You are doing too much damage. Are you deep conditioning weekly? This will make your hair softer and prevent damage, but once you get split ends, there is no way to repair this other than a haircut.

You can condition your hair with a hot oil treatment once a week. Just use 8 tblsp. of olive oil. You can add 1 tblsp. honey too, but that frizzes my hair. Heat it up au bain marie (put a small bottle with the oil in hot water till it's warmed up). Apply and leave in for as long as you like. (I sleep the night with that stuff in my hair)
