Blow dryer on cold setting?

hi, i was wondering if i blow dry my hair on it's cold setting no hot air at all would it still cause any damage?

Blow dryer on cold setting?

NO, YOUR JUST BLOWING COLD AIR ONTO IT, ITS EASIER IF YOU JUST STICK YOUR HEAD OUT OF A MOVING CAR.

Blow dryer on cold setting?

yes, can still cause damage, just not as much if it's not hot air blowing that close to your hair.

Blow dryer on cold setting?

The only damage you would get would be from the brush itself. I like to let my hair dry naturally almost the whole way and then blow dry on warm. If you frizz easily or have fine or damaged hair end with a few minutes on cool to close the cuticle on your hair which is ultimately what causes frizz in the first place. Hope this helps you out !

Blow dryer on cold setting?

no there's not any damage as your not putting any hot air on to the hair .Its the hot air that goes in to the cortex of the hair and burns the cuticle's that lay on the hair .

Blow dryer on cold setting?

u should only blow dry 1nce a week . while the air is cold then blow dry yo hair to make it really shiny( dont use hot ari) also if u wash urhair w/ unbearably cold water it makes it super-shiny .thatz my advice...,'l;,'y hbj'nuk./l

It probably won't cause damage, but it will take forever for your hair to dry. I tried this once, I don't have that long just to blow dry. Use the warm setting, but keep the nozzle moving, and be gentle with the brush (if you use one). If your hair is in good shape, you shouldn't have to worry about damage.

Blow dryer on cold setting?

no, damage is not caused by heat its caused by you overly drying your hair. For example you use heat to iron your clothes but if you leave the iron on it the clothing its gonna burn. Try using a leave in conditioner b4 u blow dry.

Blow dryer on cold setting?

no the constant heat drying the hair until (usually) overdried is what does it.

Blow dryer on cold setting?

yes it has a good chance of making your hair dry

Blow dryer on cold setting?

ceramic stays heated in a more consistent heat. copper heats up in certain areas causing hot spots and this will lead to burning the hair. ceramic is the way to go. but be careful for some reason ceramic appliances will just stop heating up when there old. where as copper will get really hot and burn the hair when they're old

Blow dryer on cold setting?

Actually blow drying your hair on cold setting is good. It does not do any damage at all.

Blow dryer on cold setting?

I don't think it would damage your hair but it might not dry your hair as well and you would probably be sitting there forever to blow dry it.

Blow dryer on cold setting?

yep hot or cold it still can cause damage to your hair, may as well use warm or hot and at least it'll go faster!

Blow dryer on cold setting?

no it won"t. cool settings are good for styling.
